After the sock is temporarily mounted by being hauled in up to a tiptoe part, a dent is formed in the sock, pushing the tiptoe part of the sock into an inner periphery of the setter. After the user's tiptoe is inserted into the dent, the setter is moved along a leg by the steering rods 5 for wearing the sock.
