摘要： PURPOSE: To simplify angle modification of a reclining backrest by forming so that a pivoted spindle of a reclining backrest to a seat is positioned lower than the horizontal line which passes the pivoted spindle of the reclining backrest to an earthing means, and is positioned upper than the horizontal line when the seat back is fully lowered. CONSTITUTION: A geometric axis of a pin 5 of a seat 2 which rotates on a seat back 1 is positioned in the fore part of a geometric axis of a pin 13 of the seat back 1 which rotates on a rear leg 9. Moving end positions 5b, 5h of a geometric connecting axis 5 connecting the seat 2 to the seat back 1 correspond to the positions of upper and lower of this horizontal line P, that is, the position with the seat back 1 in a fully upright state and the position with the seat back 1 in a fully lowered state. A bend (f), which is formed between the track of the pin 5 with the pin 13 of the rear leg 9 as the center when the seat back 1 is rotated and a plane Q, becomes the minimum. As the bend (f) is so small that a clearance in the connecting part formed by the pin 5 fully works to absorb and correct the bend (f). With a rack 16 of an armrest 14 taken off a protrusion 18, the inclination of the seat back 1 is changed easily.

摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a chair which can be folded flat by attaching armrests connected to compass members each of which consists of a front arm pivotally supported at the seat and a rear arm pivotally supported by a pin at the front arm, and making the seat rack and the armrest racks detachable from fingers of the front legs and from fingers of the compass members respectively. CONSTITUTION: A changeable triangle is formed by a front leg 8, a rear leg 9 and the seat 1 as the three sides. A changeable protruding pentagon is formed by the seat 1, the front arm 12 of a compass member 11, an armrest 10, the back 4, and the front leg 8. The rear arm 13 of the compass member 11 extends between pins 16 and 33 almost diagonally. Therefore, after racks 21 and 27 are detached, the triangle and the pentagon will be changed to a pentagon formed by the seat 1, the front arm 12, the rear arm 13, the front leg 8 and the rear leg 9. When the converted polygon is flattened, the armrest 10 is pushed by a finger 31 and rotated with a pin 26 on the back 4 as the pivot of rotation till it is brought into contact with the back 4.
