摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setup device for inserting a packaging web into a rod manufacturing machine, with which a packaging web is automatically inserted along the molding track of a winding section in the starting preparation of the rod manufacturing machine for manufacturing cigarettes and filters.
SOLUTION: The setup device for inserting a packaging web, applied to a combined filter rod manufacturing machine as the rod manufacturing machine is equipped with a guide roller 44 in the vicinity of a molding track 38, the guide passage 154 of the packaging web W formed on the upstream side of the guide roller 44, a lead-in passage 164 for leading a material line and the packaging web W from the guide roller 44 to the molding track 38, a movable roller holder 118 having a suction surface 124 for releasably sucking the tip part of the packaging web W right under the guide passage 154, a sending roller 104 for sending the packaging web W in cooperation with the pinch roller 122 of the movable roller holder 118, an air jet hole 132 which is attached to the movable roller holder 118 and jets compressed air toward the guide passage 154 and a bottom guide 162 forming the bottom wall of the lead-in passage 164 and displaceable in the vertical direction.
