    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely easily obtain soft ice cream by packing a container with a specific soft ice cream followed by rapidly freezing and hardening it at a specific temperature, preserving it at freezing temperatures, and then rapidly softening it through raising temperatures using a microwave oven. SOLUTION: This soft ice cream is obtained by the following process: when hard ice cream is to be produced on a business scale, a soft ice cream afforded as a precursor of the hard ice cream is injected into and filled in a container such as a cone 1 of e.g. edible matter so as to afford the lower half 10 of ice cream below the upper edge 1a of the cone 1 and the upper half 20 of ice cream above the upper edge 1a, immediately followed by rapid freezing and hardening at -30 to -40 deg.C and preserving the product at -15 to -25 deg.C or so; thereafter, in response to the demand of customers, the frozen product is rapidly softened by raising temperature to 0 to -8 deg.C using a microwave oven, thus obtaining the objective soft ice cream; wherein 20a represents a screwedly slanted portion, S represents a reinforcing lattice, and, in general, the lower half portion 10 of ice cream does not run down beyond the above portion.
