摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch device capable of reducing an operating physical force required for an opening operation of an operating handle, while reducing manufacturing costs and downsizing the device. SOLUTION: This latch device 10 comprises: a latch 21 which is rotatably arranged on a side door, and which is put into the state of being meshed with a striker arranged in a vehicle body; a ratchet 22 which is engaged with the latch 21 by making an engaging motion, so as to maintain the meshed state, and which makes a release motion so as to release the meshed state; and an open lever 30 which makes a door opening motion by the opening operation of the operating handle. The latch device 10 is equipped with a lever member 51 which abuts on the latch 21 in the meshed state, excessively swings the latch 21 in the direction of a closing motion and releases the state of the engagement of the latch 21 with the rachet 22, by the time the ratchet 22 makes a release motion after the operating handle is operated for the opening of the door. 摘要： A method and system for deforming a drive rod in a door after an impact to the door. An automobile having a door with a door handle, a drive rod, a latching system, a striker, and a drive rod deformation member. The drive rod deformation member can be positioned adjacent to the drive rod. Upon impact to the door, the drive rod deformation member impacts and deforms the drive rod. The deformation of the drive rod can correspond to a compression of the door and the door can be opened by actuating the door handle. However, the deformation of the drive rod prevents the drive rod from controlling the latching system to disengage from the striker through compression of the door.

SOLUTION: The present invention includes an automobile having the door provided with a door handle, the driving rod, a latch system, a striker, and a driving rod hammering member. The driving rod hammering member may be arranged adjacently to the driving rod. The driving rod is disengaged from the door handle, and/or the latch system by inertia, the driving rod hammering member for applying an impact to the driving rod, or other optional means, when the door receives the shock. The driving rod hammering member deters the system from being reengaged with the driving rod. The disengagement of the driving rod blocks control for the driving rod to disengage the latch system from the striker, by either of a deformation of the door or an operation by the door handle.
