    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling device capable of successfully coupling a first housing to a second housing. SOLUTION: When a housing 15 for display establishes a reference posture, a receiving piece 62 on a bracket receives a first flat surface of the housing 15 for display in the back of the housing 15 for display.     • A checker-equipped door hinge device for vehicle includes: a first bracket fixed to one of a body and a door; a second bracket fixed to another one of the body and the door; a hinge pin connecting the first and second brackets to each other, and allowing the brackets to be relatively rotatable; an inner cylinder connected integrally to the first bracket and disposed coaxially with the hinge pin; an outer cylinder connected integrally to the second bracket and disposed so as to surround the inner cylinder in a manner of being rotatable relative to the inner cylinder; and a checking-force generating mechanism provided between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder, the checking-force generating mechanism generating a checking force against the door at a predetermined opening position of the door, wherein an inner peripheral surface and an outer peripheral surface of the outer cylinder are eccentric to each other, so that a thick wall portion having a large distance between the inner peripheral surface and the outer peripheral surface is formed in the outer cylinder, and the checking-force generating mechanism is provided in the thick wall portion. Thereby the door hinge device can be compact, in which the checking-force generating mechanism can be disposed in the outer cylinder without increasing the diameter of the outer cylinder.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent damage due to a shock at the time of falling or an unreasonable opening operation even if a hinge device of mobile equipment is miniaturized using an inexpensive member. SOLUTION: A first stopper portion 13 installed in a first frame member secured to an upper casing, and a first stopper-receiving portion 16 installed in a second frame member secured to a lower casing are brought in contact with predetermined rounded corners 13a, 16a respectively, and brought in contact with contact surfaces 13b, 16b which are subjected to a tilting process for tilting in the direction of a rotation shaft and rotational direction. Thereby, a load produced upon contact between the first stopper portion 13 and the first stopper-receiving portion 16 can be applied, via respective corners 13a, 16a and respective contact surfaces 13b, 16b, in such a direction that the thickness of the first stopper portion 13 becomes larger. Therefore, even if the hinge device is miniaturized using the inexpensive member, the damage due to the shock at the time of falling or the unreasonable opening operation can be prevented effectively.
