    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable apparatus wherein its housings can be normally opened and closed, and in addition to that, a closed condition can be formed by further sliding the housings at a fully opened position. SOLUTION: This portable apparatus is composed of a first housing 11 and a second housing 12, and is to form the closed condition in which the top face of the first housing 11 is covered with the second housing 12 and an open condition in which the top face of the first housing 11 is exposed, by using an opening and closing mechanism 1. The closed position, the intermediate position, and the fully opened position of the first housing 11 and the second housing 12 can be formed by opening and closing the first housing 11 and the second housing 12 with their one end part as a fulcrum, by the opening and closing mechanism 1. In addition to that, a slide position where the first housing 11 and the second housing 12 are overlapped each other can be formed by linearly sliding them at the fully opened position.
