    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion valve for increasing cooling efficiency, and for reducing the number of components and costs, and to provide an air conditioner for vehicle, which is equipped with this expansion valve.SOLUTION: This expansion valve includes: a body 110 formed with an inflow channel 111 to which coolant is supplied from a condenser 2, first and second discharge channels 114 and 115 for branching and discharging the coolant to evaporators 61 and 62, and first and second orifices 112 and 113 for communicating the first discharge channel 114 with the second discharge channel 115; first and second valves 121 and 122 for adjusting the flow rate of the passing coolant by adjusting the openings of the first and second orifices 112 and 113; and a shaft 120 for changing the positions of the first and second valves. One of the first and second discharge channels 114 and 115 is formed at the upper side of the inflow channel 111 along the axial direction of the shaft 120, and the other discharge channel is formed at the lower side of the inflow channel 111.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion valve capable of enhancing cooling efficiency by using a single expansion valve, and can reduce the number of part items and costs.SOLUTION: The expansion valve comprises: a flow-in passage into which a refrigerant is supplied from a capacitor; first 114 and second 115 discharge passages which split the refrigerant supplied into the flow-in passage and discharge the refrigerants to an evaporator; a body 110 in which first 112 and second 113 orifices for making the flow-in passage 111 and the first and second discharge passages communicate with each other are formed; first 121 and second 122 valves for adjusting flow rates of the refrigerants by adjusting openings of the first and second orifices; and a shaft 120 which changes positions of the valves. Either of the first and second discharge passages is formed at the upper side of the flow-in passage, the other is formed at the lower side of the flow-in passage, one of the first and second valves is arranged in a position in which an inlet of the first orifice is opened and closed, and the other is arranged in a position in which an outlet of the second orifice is opened and closed.
