    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker cabinet having high stiffness, shape stability, and enhanced acoustic characteristics, and attaining high quality external appearance exhibiting a smooth surface and no creases caused by the bending of a base material.
      SOLUTION: The speaker cabinet is composed of the base material 30 forming a side plate 23 forming a side of the speaker cabinet on its surface side with a plurality of grooves 31 at given intervals; and a decorative laminated sheet 32 laminated and stuck on and to the surface of the base material 30 to cover the grooves 31. Integration is achieved by curving the base material 30 and the decorative laminated sheet 32 by means of an upper die 35 and a lower die 36 so that the surface of the decorative laminated sheet 32 may have a smooth projected curved plane and by laminating and sticking the base material 30 on and to the decorative laminated sheet 32. The grooves 31 perform no opening or closing when external force is applied to the side plate 30 since opening end edges are stuck to the backside of the decorative laminated sheet 32.
