    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more securely receive image data by considering line quality at the time of receiving the image data.
      SOLUTION: A facsimile device 20 is designed to receive the image data from a facsimile device of a destination. A RAM 7 is designed to store as an EQM data table 7a after measuring an average value and variations of an EQM (eyes quality monitor) value of the image data, and the number of error lines of the image data. A main control unit 1 is designed to perform a training process after receiving a training signal from the facsimile device of the destination in the other facsimile communication (S4 in the figure 3), and to measure an average value and variations of the EQM value of the training signal (S4 to S5). The average value and the variations of the measured EQM value are to be compared with the average value and the variations of the EQM value stored within the EQM data table (S6 to S7), then the training process is to be performed again (S8) when its result is not corresponded (NO in the S7).
