    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component having guide pin insertion holes, such as a microlens array, in which the guide pin insertion holes into which guide pins are easily inserted is formed with precision and in a simple manner.
      SOLUTION: The microlens array has a translucent substrate 30, such as glass and convex lenses 36 which are formed on one of the main surfaces of the substrate 30. On the substrate 30, guide pin insertion holes 32 and 34 are formed on one end side and the other end side of the string of the lenses 36, respectively. In the hole 32, a metal layer 38, having at least three metal protrusions 38a to 38c, is formed by plating process only in the inner wall segment of the hole for 50 to 100 μm from the opening end of the guide pin insertion side so that the opening size of the hole 32 increases as going toward the outside. The metal layer 38 can be deleted, if so desired. A metal layer can be formed to make the hole 32 into a polygonal hole, in place of the metal protrusions 38a to 38c. In the hole 34, metallic protrusions and/or a metal layer are formed similar to the case of the hole 32.
