    • PURPOSE:To provide a material whose corrosion resistance to molten sodium polysulfide is equal to pure Mo and having good machinability and weldability by containing a specified amount of each of C, Si, Mn, Cr, Ni, Al and Y in iron. CONSTITUTION:A material consists of 0.2% or less C, 1% or less Si, 2% or less Mn, 15-30% Cr, 1% or less ni, 2-10% Al, and 0.01-1% Y by weight and the balance Fe except impurities. Cr is necessary in order to form a protection film which has good corrosion resistance and electroconductivity and increases current collecting efficiency. Al suppresses cation transfer such as Cr transfer in a sulfide mainly comprising Cr which protects corrosion caused by molten sodium polysulfide, and decreases cation holes, and suppresses the outward diffusion of Cr. Y also suppresses the outward diffusion of Cr same as Al, and increases bonding capability of a sulfide film mainly comprising Cr to a mother material.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pouch type secondary battery capable of increasing large thickness and flexibility in outline design, and to provide a method of fabricating the same.SOLUTION: The method for fabricating the pouch type secondary battery includes the following steps of: mounting of an electrode assembly; first sealing; injecting of an electrolyte; and second sealing. In the step of mounting the electrode assembly, an electrode assembly having a first electrode plate attached with a first electrode tab, a second electrode plate attached with a second electrode tab and a separator disposed between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate is mounted between a first pouch sheet and a second pouch sheet. In the step of first sealing, outer sides of the first and the second pouch sheets are sealed for accommodating the electrode assembly, exposing the first and second electrode tabs outside the assembly, and forming an electrolyte injection passage from the inside to the outside. In the step of injecting the electrolyte, an electrolyte is injected inside the first and the second pouch sheets through the electrolyte injection passage. In the step of second sealing, the electrolyte injection passage is tightly sealed in a state of accommodating the electrode assembly inside of the first and the second pouch sheets.
