      SOLUTION: The anode substrate structure comprises an anode substrate opposed to a cathode substrate, having a smaller area than the cathode substrate and disposed inside the cathode substrate so that four surface frames of the cathode substrate are all exposed. A data driving electrode and a scan driving electrode are mounted on the cathode substrate. An anode voltage application end is provided for the anode substrate. As a result, since the anode substrate that is the upper substrate of the electron emission display device does not cover the cathode substrate that is the lower substrate, it is possible to prevent a reduction in image uniformity due to a voltage drop when power is applied to the anode substrate and to secure a place for mounting the scan driving electrode for a dual scan on the cathode substrate.
