The image editing device includes: an input interface for receiving a plurality of candidate images that are specified as editing targets; and an image editing unit for creating the sequence of images by giving a characteristic displaying effect to each group consisting of at least two images that are extracted from the plurality of candidate images based on the ancillary information, and then by aligning the groups.
