摘要： PURPOSE:To display many information by a samll number of display elements and to obtain also a decorative effect by fitting plural display elements to a pendulum and driving the display elements synchronously with the movement of the pendulum. CONSTITUTION:A clock body 1 is provided with the pendulum 2 and the display elements 3 such as LEDs are fitted to the endulum. Each display element 3 is selectively driven synchronously with the movement of the pendulum 2 and characters, numerals or graphic forms are displayed by an afterimage phenomenon. At every period of the pendulum 2, 7 pulses are generated from a control circuit 11 and supplied to a counter 12. Week data of that day are read out from a storage circuit 9 on the basis of the output of the counter 12 and the output of a week counter 8 and the display elements 3 are driven by the output of a driving circuit 13.
