摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unevenness of amount of developer supplied to an image carrier in a direction along the rotational axis of a developer carrier.SOLUTION: A guide member 400 is provided with a plurality of plate-like members 410. Each plate-like member 410 is provided with a guide surface 420 for guiding developer when the developer collides with it. The plate-like members 410 are arranged in a first conveyance direction A8 in which the developer is conveyed, and each of them has an inclination from the vertical direction in such a manner that its vertically lower edge is located downstream of its vertically upper edge in the first conveyance direction A8. These inclinations are made bigger for the plate-like members 410 that are located towards the upstream side in the first conveyance direction A8. The plate-like members 410 are provided in such positions that the guide surfaces 420 collide with the moving developer. The guide surfaces 420 apply force to the colliding developer in the downstream direction to guide the developer downstream.
