    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pseudo-sunlight irradiating apparatus that makes illuminance adjustments corresponding to a plurality of light sources with high precision independently for projection light from the respective light sources.SOLUTION: The pseudo-sunlight irradiating apparatus 18 is provided with: optical system sets 100, 101 each of which is comprised of a xenon light source 16 and a halogen light source 17; a light-guiding plate 10; and a prism sheet 11. Transmittance adjustment sheets 12a-12c are formed on the prism sheet 11. The transmission rate adjustment sheets 12a-12c have: either one of a characteristic of letting most of the light having a wavelength shorter than a prescribed wavelength be transmitted therethrough, and reflecting most of the light having a wavelength longer than the prescribed wavelength; and a characteristic of reflecting most of the light having a wavelength shorter than a prescribed wavelength, and letting most of the light having a wavelength longer than the prescribed wavelength be transmitted therethrough. Thus, transmittance of xenon light and transmittance of halogen light can be adjusted independently.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar display to which a lamp unit is attached detachably and which is improved so that the lamp unit can be exchanged quickly with ease.
      SOLUTION: The old lamp unit 5 is drawn out from a gateway 13a of the unit 5 to the direction shown by arrow B by pushing projections 17a, 17b through holes 18a, 18b of a resin frame 13 by using a tool when the unit 5 is replaced. The new unit 5 is inserted into the gateway 13a by deforming the projections 17a, 17b toward the side of a lamp 6 by making good use of the elasticity of the projections 17a, 17b. When the unit 5 is inserted and arrived at the regular position, the projections 17a and 17b are faced to the holes 18a and 18b respectively and then engaged in the holes 18a and 18b respectively because the projections 17a, 17b are restored to original shapes by the elastic force of them. Since the unit 5 is positioned and fixed in the frame 13 like this, the unit 5 does not slip out even when an impact is given to this display from the outside.
