    • PURPOSE:To prevent the tip part of a nozzle from scaling and contrive to perform the steady treatment of boiler-blow water produced by an urban refuse incinerating installation in a refuse incinerator by a method wherein the value of pH of boiler-blow water being sprayed into the incinerator is controlled to be within pH 7-9. CONSTITUTION:The pH value of boiler-blow water W1 produced by waste-heat boiler installation, not shown in figure, is pH controlled in a pH control tank 4 by sulfuric acid supplied from a chemical tank 5 via a pump 6 and a flow rate regulating valve 7, then sprayed into an incinerator with a spray nozzle 11 via a filter 8, a pump 9 and a flow rate regulating valve 10. In this case, the boiler- blow water W1 introduced to the pH control tank 4 is controlled within the range of pH 7-9 (desired at pH 8) by the sulfuric acid supplied from the chemical tank 5. The pH value of the pH controlled boiler-blow water is detected for cntrolling of the amount of sulfuric acid supplied to the pH control tank 4, the control is performed by the operation of a flow rate regulating valve 7 according to the detected pH value.
