    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic shift control device capable of reducing the time to be required from a start to a conclusion of the shifting operation, restricting an overload to be to a shift actuator. SOLUTION: This automatic shift control device comprises a transmission having several pairs of shift gear and a gear selecting mechanism, a shift motor 70 for driving the gear selecting mechanism, a shift power transmitting mechanism 80 for transmitting power of the shift motor 70 to the gear selecting mechanism, and a torque limiter 88 having a third reduction gear 81g and a third shaft 81c as parts of the shift power transmitting mechanism 80. The torque limiter 88 transmits the power of the shift motor 70 as the torque, and when the torque to be transmitted equals to or less than a predetermined limit torque L, the third reduction gear 81g is rotated with the third shaft 81c, and when the torque to be transmitted exceeds the predetermined limit torque L, the third reduction gear 81g is rotated relative to the third shaft 81c so as to limit the torque to be transmitted to the predetermined limit torque L or less.
