    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic-resin sliding bearing that can reliably prevent dust or the like from entering a sliding surface, inhibits a reduction in a sliding characteristic caused by the entrance of dust or the like, in which hours of assembly work can be reduced, and that inhibits falling off easily due to vibration or the like.SOLUTION: The sliding bearing 1 includes: a synthetic-resin upper case 2 secured on a vehicle body side via an attachment member; a synthetic-resin lower case 3 overlapping with the upper case 2, and formed thereon a spring receiving seat surface for a suspension coil spring; a synthetic-resin sliding bearing piece 5 disposed in an annular space 4 between the upper case 2 and the lower case 3; and a synthetic-resin annular inside-seal member 8 and outside-seal member 9 for sealing both an annular gap 6 on an inner circumferential side in the radial direction X and an annular gap 7 on an outer circumferential side in the radial direction X between the upper case 2 and the lower case 3, both annular gaps connecting the annular space 4 with the outside.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer for a conical bearing adaptable to a wide variety of designs without restrictions in dimensional design of its hooking portion, manufacturing method of such a retainer, and the conical bearing using such the retainer.SOLUTION: The retainer for the conical bearing made of resin includes a small diameter ring part 24b, a large diameter ring part 24a, and a plurality of pillar sections 24c arranged between these ring parts, in which a conical roller 23 is retained in a pocket 24d between each of those pillar sections 24c. It has the hooking portion 36 engaged with the large diameter side of an inner ring 21 on this large diameter side to make an outer diameter of the ring part on small diameter side of the pocket 24d (that is, an end diameter on small diameter side of the pocket 24d) larger than an inner diameter of the hooking portion 36. In forming of the pocket 24d, a slide core 53 sliding so as to incline against retainer shaft center towards the shaft center during pullout is used.
