    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling device having a long service life even through employed in an application which makes a sufficient lubricating film hard to form on a raceway surface and rolling surface and makes the formed lubricating film vulnerable to partial rupture.
      SOLUTION: A deep groove ball bearing is equipped with an inner ring 1, an outer ring 2 and a plurality of balls 3 rotatably arranged between a raceway surface 1a of the inner ring 1 and a raceway surface 2a of the outer ring 2. A rolling surface 3a of the ball 3 is provided with a coating formed by shot peeling of chrome powder or nickel powder. The preferable thickness of the coating is 0.1 μm or more and 8 μm or less. It is preferable that at least a part of the rolling surface 3a of the ball 3 coated with a coating is provided with the dimple having the depth of 0.1 μm or more and 5 μm or less. It is also preferable that the center line average roughness Ra of the coating surface is 0.1 μm-0.5 μm.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing seal having improved anti-corrosion performances against an organic acid and the like which may be stably used for a long period of time under the condition in which it is exposed to acids or alkalies.SOLUTION: A bearing seal 6a for sealing between an inner ring 2 and an outer ring 3 of a rolling bearing holding a plurality of rolling elements 4 disposed to be free to roll between the inner ring 2 and the outer ring 3 comprises an annular core metal 7a and a rubber material 8a adhered on a surface of the core metal via an adhesion layer 10a. The core metal 7a comprises (a) a base material of iron, (b) one layer of the followings as a protective film formed on the surface of the base material: (b-1) a metal plating layer 12a of one metal forming a passive film for preventing the corrosion of the base material excluding zinc and including chromium; and (b-2) a metal plating layer of the metal having less ionizaion tendency than iron for preventing the corrosion of the base material, and (c) a chromium oxide hydrate layer 13a on one of the layers. Such bearing seal may be stably used for a long period of time since it protects the base material against acids or alkalies and stripping of the adhesion layer hardly occurs.
