    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge valve of a hermetic compressor in which an overload is not applied to the inside of a cylinder, the efficiency of the compressor is increased, and noise is reduced, by discharging refrigerant in compressed state merely by the weight of the valve itself in a discharge stroke. SOLUTION: This discharge valve of the hermetic compressor is installed in a cylinder head and opened/closed by the reciprocating motion of a piston to discharge the refrigerant. The discharge valve comprises a valve plate installed on the cylinder head and having a discharge hole for discharging the refrigerant formed therein and a disk valve installed on the upper side of the discharge hole in the valve plate and vertically lifted by the reciprocating motion of the piston, and a stopper installed on the upper side of the disk valve, guiding the lifting of the disk valve, and limiting the lifted height thereof.
