    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor capable of preventing the unbalance of a force along the axial direction, a drastic pressure change in a trapping section and the wear of a cylinder block and a piston.SOLUTION: The compressor 100 includes a housing 110, a valve plate 120, a cylinder block 130, piston units 140, a cam element 150, a drive shaft 160 and a motor 170. The valve plate is fixed to one end of the housing. A portion of the cylinder block is received in the valve plate. The cylinder block is rotatable relative to the valve plate and has a plurality of cylinder bores disposed along a circumferential direction. The piston units are housed in a plurality of cylinder bores. The cam element is fixed to the housing and is in contact with one end of each of the piston units. The cam element has an inclined cam surface. One end of the drive shaft is coupled to the cylinder block. The motor is fixed to the other end of the housing.

    • PURPOSE:To make the pressing of a delivery valve sure and support the part of the delivery valve well upon high speed rotation by a method wherein a rib, preventing the torsion of the part of the delivery valve, is provided between the parts of the delivery valve formed into a radial form. CONSTITUTION:A part in the annular part 11 of a delivery valve plate 13, which is located at the intermediate position between the delivery valve parts 14, 14, is formed with the rib 11a protruded outwardly by a predetermined amount and the rib 11a is also pressed by a gasket 22. Accordingly, a point (b), pressing the root of the delivery valve part 14, is located on a line connecting ribs 11a at both sides of the delivery valve part 14 at all times. Therefore, the pressing point (b) is positioned at a constant position substantially at all times even though the attaching position of the delivery valve plate 13 is somewhat deviated and the incorporation of the delivery valve plate 13 may be facilitated very much.
