    • PURPOSE:To reduce the working man-hour of a cylinder, miniaturize the compressor and reduce the installation area of the compressor by a method wherein connecting rods are connected integrally and supported by an eccentric shaft part through bearing while cylinders are located in parallel on a plane vertical to the rotary shaft of crank shaft. CONSTITUTION:When the crank shaft 2 is rotated, pistons 24-26 reciprocate with a predetermined phase and respective cylinders 4-6 suck and discharge low pressure refrigerant gas. Only the connecting rod 31, connected to the piston 25 equipped in the central cylinder among cylinders 4-6, is supported on the eccentric shaft part 22 through bearings, one set of the cylinders are located on the plane, vertical to the rotary shaft O of the crank shaft 2 and passing through the shaft part 22, and the connecting rods 30, 32, connected to the pistons 24, 26 equipped in the cylinders 4, 6, are supported by arm bodies 46, 47 through bearings. According to this method, the lengths of the compressor and the crank shaft 2 may be shortened than the same of a conventional compressor by a dimension corresponding to the thicknesses of the connecting rods 30-32 and respective cylinders 4-6 may be worked without changing the angle of working machine.
