    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic motor with which a casing is sufficiently cooled irrespective of operating conditions.SOLUTION: A hydraulic motor (piston motor 1) includes a motor mechanism 40 which operates to rotate by a working hydraulic pressure led from a working hydraulic source. It includes a casing chamber 58 for accommodating the motor mechanism 40, a brake mechanism 25 for braking the rotation of the motor mechanism 40, a brake release actuator 29 for cancelling the braking of the brake mechanism 25 by a brake release pressure Pp led from the working hydraulic source, and an aperture path 50 connected to the casing chamber 58 for taking out part of a working fluid led to the brake release actuator 29. The hydraulic motor is structured such that the working fluid taken out from the aperture path 50 is led to the casing chamber 58.

It is structured such that the working fluid taken out from the flushing path 47 is led to the casing chamber 58.
