    • PURPOSE:To obtain a simple and compact water turbine, by providing movable vanes integrally formed with each other, and supporting in a casing a rotor having a liquid removing passage bored at a center of the movable vanes, whereby the rotor is rotated by pressurized liquid injected from nozzles provided on a peripheral surface of the casing. CONSTITUTION:Four vanes 10 are radially arranged, and both ends of the vanes 10 are connected by a disc 11. A rotor 2 having a liquid removing passage 4 bored at an axial center thereof by passing through the disc 11 at its one end is rotatably supported in an inner casing 5 having nozzles 6 on its peripheral surface. Further, an outer casing 7 having a liquid induction port 9 is formed around the inner casing 5 in such a manner that a pressure chamber 8 is defined between the inner casing 5 and the outer casing 7 to form a water turbine. In the case that the water turbine is used as a pipe washing device 17, an attachment 21 for a brush 20 is mounted to an end of the liquid removing passage 4, and is rotated with the rotor 2 by pressurzed liquid injectied from the nozzles 6.
