    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial flow turbine and a power-generating plant in which deterioration in efficiency of the plant is suppressed by sufficiently cooling a turbine rotor.SOLUTION: The axial flow turbine includes: a turbine nozzle 1 which is disposed in a circumferential direction and a rotation center axis direction between an outer ring of a diaphragm and an inner ring; a turbine rotor blade 5 which is planted in the circumferential direction in a rotor disk 21 of a turbine rotor 13 provided in the rotation center axis direction of a cylindrical flow channel of the inner ring; a heat-shielding plate 3 which is provided so as to form a space part 9 between itself and the outer surfaces of the turbine rotor, between two adjacent rotor disks; a communication hole 2 which is formed in the turbine rotor and has a cooling medium flowing therein and is connected with the space part; an opening part 6 which is connected with the space part and is formed in at least one of two rotor disks; a second communication hole which is connected with the space part via the opening part 6 and communicates with a plantation part; a communication hole 5 which is connected with the second communication hole and communicates along an effective length part of the turbine rotor blade 5; and opening parts 7a which are connected with the communication hole and are opened in a side face of the turbine rotor blade or an opening part 7b which is connected to the communication hole and is opened in an outer peripheral end face of the turbine rotor blade.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a control system by providing a tandem steam turbine with plural speed detectors and using signals from the speed detector for recording and indicating speed when an exclusive detector for controlling speed and load gets out of order. CONSTITUTION:A control system for a tandem steam turbine is provided with plural speed detector DP1-3 and ones for recording and indicating speed DP4, 5. Signals sent from the above detectors are inputted into a majority logic circuit ML, and the most reliable of signals sent from exclusive speed detectors for controlling speed and load is selected to be used. When one or more of the above signals are judged to be abnormal, the signals sent from the speed detectors for recording and indicating speed DP4, 5 are added to the above signals, and then the most reliable of these signals is selected. Consequently, the reliability of the control system can be improved.
