    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vapor driven motor drivable by vapor.
      SOLUTION: The width of a slot groove is set greater than the thickness of a vane to provide a clearance between the vane and the slot groove. Since the vane does not make contact with an inner surface of the slot groove, supply of lubricating oil is not needed, and entry of moisture does not affect extension and retraction performance of the vane, and this enables driving by the vapor A. Although the vane does not make contact with the slot groove, the vane is supported by a rotation shaft section of a hinge groove via an arm, so that a stable support state is provided without looseness. Further, pressure from the vapor A applied to a pressure receiving surface of the vane acts in the rotational direction of a rotor on the hinge groove via the arm. This reduces force for pressing the tip of the vane to an inner surface of a cylinder. As a result, sliding resistance between the tip of the vane and the inner surface of the cylinder is reduced to realize smooth rotation of the rotor.
