摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert kinetic-energy of water flowing down from the roof of a building into electrical energy. SOLUTION: A hydraulic power generation system includes a turbine 16 having a rotor 18, and a generator 19 disposed in a down pipe 20. The down pipe 20 has an upper end 22 for receiving water flowing down from the roof 14 through gutters 28. The down pipe 20 includes channels 24a, 24b extending from the upper end 22 to respective outlets 26a, 26b. Each of the outlets 26a, 26b leads water to the rotor 18 to rotate it in the same direction. The channels 24a, 24b are made up so that the water flows down into the down pipe 20, and passes through the channel 24a, and then flows out of the outlet 26a. In the case of heavy rain, water in the channel 24a overflows into the channel 24b, and flows out of the outlet 24b to further drive the rotor 18.
