    • PURPOSE:To permit to control automatic water discharge with a simple constitution by a method wherein the opening and closing of valve for water discharging port of a bathtub is controlled from the inside of bath boiler by a wire through a circulating pipe for additional heating. CONSTITUTION:The water discharging port 2 is provided with an automatic water discharging plug 8 which discharges water automatically by opening the inner lid thereof througth the wire 7 of stainless steel or the like. The wire 7 is held by wire holding fitments 12 at the vicinity of the bathtub port 10 of the circulating pipe 4 and the mounting section 11 of the circulating pipe 4 in the bath boiler 5 respectively so as to avoid friction between the circulating pipe 4. Further, the wire is sealed by elongating and contracting rubbers 13, thereafter, is connected to a water discharge control unit 14 in the bath boiler 5. The water discharge control unit 14 winds up the wire 7 connected to the automatic water discharge plug 8 by the rotating motion of a motor or the like. According to this method, the inner lid 6 of the automatic water discharge plug 8 is opened by the tension of the wire 7 and remaining water may be discharged.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent buckling and malfunction of a release wire in a remote-controlled drain plug device having an operation part on a vertical wall surface, and to provide the remote-controlled drain plug device by which the design is improved when the operation part is arranged in an overflow drain port.SOLUTION: The remote-controlled drain plug device includes a drain port 1 arranged in a tank body S, a valve member 2 opening and closing the drain port 1, the operation part 3 arranged on a substantially vertical wall surface, and the release wire 4 transmitting the operation applied to the operation part 3 to the valve member 2. The operation part 3 comprises a moving body 5 connected to an inner wire of the release wire 4 and provided with a tab 11 on the side face, and an operation part body 6, which is a box-shaped body connected to an outer tube 4a and provided with an opening 7 in the side face, for housing the moving body 5 in a vertically slidable manner in the state that the tab 11 projects from the opening 7 formed in the side face.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain plug structure for a bathtub, which minimizes the possibility of forming an obstacle by a plug cover protruding from the bottom of the bathtub, and improves the watertightness of the drain plug by suppressing the protrusion of the plug cover from the bottom of the bathtub.
      SOLUTION: The plug cover 1 is laid in a recess 4 which is formed such that the peripheral edge of the plug cover 1 falls below the bottom surface 2A of the bathtub. A packing 6 is brought into intimate contact with a patching intimate contact surface 5 which tapers downward from the bottom of the recess 4. The bottom of the recess 4 which is set as a horizontal surface 41, bears the plug cover 1 so as not to be inclined due to the application of a load (hydraulic pressure or artificial pressure caused by a user), and a crushing force is not applied to the packing 6 more than necessary. Then a vibration preventing body 13 for sliding the peripheral surface of a support body 2 supporting a spindle 21 in a vertically movable manner, is vertically extended from the plug cover 1, to thereby prevent the vibration of the plug cover 1. Further a foreign matter infiltration preventing cover 23 having a length equal to the peripheral surface of the support body 2 prevents the infiltration of a foreign matter contained in drain into the support body 2 when a drain port is opened and closed.
