    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer excellent in extrusion load, swelling ratio and mechanical strength and having a sufficiently short relax time of a molecular chain in a molten state, and a molded article formed by extruding the copolymer. SOLUTION: The ethylene-α-olefin copolymer has a monomer unit derived from ethylene and a monomer unit derived from a 3-20C α-olefin, and has a density (d) of 860-950 kg/m 3 , a melt flow rate (MFR) of 1-100 g/10 min, a ratio of the weight average molecular weight (Mw) to the number average molecular weight (Mn) (Mw/Mn) of 4-30, a ratio of the Z average molecular weight (Mz) to the weight average molecular weight (Mw) (Mz/Mw) of 2-5, a swelling ratio (SR) of ≥1.8 and a characteristic relax time (τ) of 0.01-10 seconds as determined by measuring a linear viscoelasticity.
