    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming glass gobs in which they are produced with high accuracy, small weight and high efficient productivity by adding inertial force for constricting the molten glass flow to an adhering member on which molten glass is adhered in addition to its own weight and surface tension acting on the small amount of molten glass flow that has been taken out from a glass melting furnace.
      SOLUTION: This method comprises taking out molten glass by adhering it to an adhering member that has solid bar-shaped body, and obtaining glass gob having a given weight, wherein necessary amount of molten glass is separated and cut by adding external inertial force for positively constricting the molten glass flow dropping down from the lower end of the adhering member in addition to its own weight and surface tension acting on the glass flow.
