    • The invention relates to a method and to a device for producing flat glass using a casting method and using a melting device, a forehearth channel (3) for feeding a glass melt to a shaping device, wherein the glass melt flows to a shaping system of cylinders and rollers that guides a glass strip (11), wherein from the forehearth channel (3) to a drawing die (7), the glass strip (11) is widened to the intended width of the glass strip (11) to be manufactured while the glass strip depth decreases. According to the invention, after leaving the forehearth channel (3) and an inclined surface of the drawing die (7), the glass melt forms, under the influence of the force of gravity, a free sag (8) used for shaping, before the glass melt encounters a drawing roller (10) or a sliding underlayment, which is cooled with fluids, wherein the free sag (8) of the glass strip (11) is adjusted in the vertical and horizontal elongation thereof in such a way by changing the position of the drawing roller (10) or the sliding underlayment that the desired sheet thickness and viscosity of the glass strip (11) are achieved when the glass strip encounters the drawing roller (10) of the sliding underlayment.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device of continuously molding crystallized glass whose thermal processing time necessary for crystallization of belt-like plate glass is reduced.SOLUTION: A method of continuously molding crystallized glass includes; a dissolution step for dissolving glass material to obtain dissolved glass; a molding step for hot-rolling the dissolved glass into a belt shape to obtain belt-like plate glass; a crystallization step for performing thermal processing of the belt-like plate glass to crystallize it and obtaining belt-like crystallization glass; and a cutting step for cutting the belt-like crystallization glass. The crystallization step includes: a crystal core molding step in which the belt-like plate glass obtained in the molding step is put into the atmosphere of a crystal core formation temperature to be maintained at a crystal core molding temperature and a crystal core is formed on the belt-like plate glass; a temperature rising step in which the belt-like plate glass on which the crystal core is formed is subjected to temperature rise up to a crystal growth temperature; a crystal growth step in which the belt-like plate glass on which the crystal core is formed is maintained at the crystal growth temperature to made to be crystallized and turned into a belt-like crystallized glass plate; and a slow cooling step in which the belt-like crystallized glass plate is cooled slowly.
