    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably feed even thin paper with high close contact force of paper in a paper conveying device blowing air to separate and feed paper.
      SOLUTION: A paper feeding device includes a stacking tray that can stack a plurality of paper; an air blowing means 1 disposed in a position near uppermost surface paper out of the plurality of paper stacked on the stacking tray and blowing air to one end portion of the paper to lift the end face of the uppermost surface paper and that of paper near the uppermost surface paper to separate the plurality of paper from each other; an end fence 10 arranged at the rear end face of the paper to regulate the rear end deviation of the paper; and side fences 23 arranged at both side end faces of the paper to regulate the side end deviation of the paper. A contact area 25 of the side end regulating member with the paper is provided with a large number of through holes 25a as an exhaust part for exhausting air from the air blowing means 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sucking device for sucking air from the upper end region at the side of the sheet pile of the paper discharging device of a sheet-fed printing press, with which fully efficient suction of air is realized even under the condition that the distance between the side end part of the sheet pile and an air catching device provided at its side is comparatively larger.
      SOLUTION: This sucking device for the paper discharging device of the sheet-fed printing press sucks the air from the upper end region at its side and has the air catching device 3. The air catching device 3 as one for catching the air faces to the upper end region at its side and has a catching opening part 3a extending towards the longitudinal direction of the sheet pile BS. In the catching opening part 3a, an auxiliary conveying device 2 for catching the air sent from the upper end region of the sheet pile BS and the exhausting the caught air towards the catching opening part 3a, is provided in an intermediate region between the side region of the sheet pile BS and the catching opening part 3a.
