    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer including a paper feed mechanism that is capable of reliably balancing paper feed force by a paper feed roller and a paper pressure roller on the left and right sides in a width direction of recording paper.
      SOLUTION: In the paper feed mechanism 30 of the printer 1, using self-aligning action centering a pressure lever fulcrum 31k and adjustment of a position where an extension spring 32 is put, the paper pressure roller 23 that is supported by a pressure lever 31 is pressed to the paper feed roller 21 so that uniform pressuring force is applied at respective portions in the width direction. Thus, the paper feed force applied by the paper feed roller 21 and the paper pressure roller 23 to the recording paper 12a is balanced on the left and right sides in the width direction of the recording paper 12a, and the recording paper 12a is prevented from meandering, skewing, and jamming.
