摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet conveying device capable of surely detecting superposing feed of a paper sheet while conveying the paper sheet at a high speed.
SOLUTION: The paper sheet conveying device is provided with a feed roller for conveying the paper sheet, a pressing member for pressing the paper sheet to the feed roller, and a superposing feed detection sensor for detecting superposing feed of the paper sheet when the paper is conveyed in the superposed state. The feed roller conveys the paper sheet while fastening the paper sheet between the pressing member and it, and the superposing feed detection sensor is arranged so that superposing feed of the paper sheet is detected in a region where amplitude of the paper sheet adjacent to a fastening section of the paper sheet is restrained.
