    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and smoothly absorb the variation of tension of the continuous form paper fed from a paper feed part to a printing part to stabilize the tension.
      SOLUTION: This rotary press provided with the paper feed part 1, and the printing part 2 provided with a printing cylinder 21 rotated corresponding to the operating speed command, comprises an in-feed roller 4 mounted in a traveling passage of the continuous forms paper W from the rolled paper 11 of the paper feed part 1 to the printing cylinder 21, a dancer roller device 5 detecting the displacement of a dancer roller 51 with respect to a reference position, and absorbing the variation of the traveling tension of the continuous forms paper W caused by the displacement, and a tension control processing part S1 for generating a signal for optimizing a peripheral speed of the in-feed roller to a peripheral speed of the printing cylinder 21 on the basis of the displacement of the dancer roller 51 and the operating speed command.

    • PURPOSE:To keep a metallic sheet flat and free from roll mark by driving a leveller stepwise at a low speed even when a feeder is in a stopped state, in continuous press working a coil-shaped metallic sheet. CONSTITUTION:A starting signal 8 and a signal 7 of the amount of feed of a feeder 3 are inputted to deviation counters 9, 10 respectively to drive a motor 6 of the feeder 3. The amount of feed outputted from a pulse generator 13 is inputted to the deviation counter 10 to stop the motor 6 after completing a prescribed amount of feed. Further, a motor 5 for work rolls 2 is also driven, and its amount of feed outputted from a pulse generator 15 is inputted to the deviation counter 9. A changeover switch 16 is actuated by the remaining number of counts to charge an electric voltage to resistors 21, 22 by a changeover switch 23 thereby the motor 5 is driven at a low speed. By the stop of an photoelectric switch 4 caused by the growth of a loop, a relay 24 actuates to stop the resistor 22 thereby the motor 5 is driven at the lower speed. When the starting signal is inputted again, the motors 6, 5 are driven, but the motor 5 is driven at the speed which is made slightly lower by frequency dividers 14, 20 to reduce the loop.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a control system in a web constant-speed feed part, by dispensing with a tension variation between a backward roll and a web drawing roller in a web sizing intermittent feeder, while controlling each of the web constant-speed feed part and a sizing intermittent feed part separately. CONSTITUTION:A web 12 of a backward roll 10 is given back tension by a brake gear 16 and delivered through each of pass rolls 18 and 20. The web 12 is interposingly held between a constant-speed feed roller 24 and a nip roller 26 and fed to the inside of a loop chamber 32. The web 12 being fed out of a web constant-speed feed part 22 forms a loop 48 inside the loop chamber 32. When the loop 48 shades the light of a photoelectric detector 44, its output signal is transmitted to a control circuit 42 whereby a roller 36 is controlled for intermittent rotation by the control circuit 42. After the loop 48 of the web 12 is interposingly held between the roller 36 and a nip roller 38 and delivered to the next process, when the next loop 48 is formed inside the loop chamber again, a motor 40 is intermittently rotated. Repeating these movements afterward, the loop is fed out toward the cutting process length by length as specified.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of unevenness in feed of a paper resulting from variation in the diameter of a paper roll, by a method wherein a slack amount sensor is mounted between a paper feed roller of such as facsimile and a feed roll located at a stage preceding the feed paper roller, so as to control the slack amount of a paper to a constant level. CONSTITUTION:If slack, exceeding a given amount, of a paper 3 is produced between pinch rollers 6a, 6b and feed rollers 4a, 4b, a limit switch 16 is switched OFF, and if the amount of slack is reduced to a level below the given value, the switch 16 is switched ON. While the switch 16 is brought in ON state, a control circuit 18 feeds a drive current to a motor 10 to rotate and drive the roller 4a and 4b. When the slack of the paper 3, produced between the rollers 4a, 4b and 6a, 6b, exceeds a given amount, resulting in switching-OFF of the switch 16, the control circuit 18 interrupts the drive current to the motor 10 to force paper- feeding operation into a stop. This enables a load applied on feed paper rollers 7a and 7b to be normally maintained at a constant level to prevent the occurrence of unevenness in paper feed.
