    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material showing a superior shock-absorbing effect, having no positional displacement of the shock absorbing material and further having no removal of shock-absorbing material when a product is taken out of a packaging box.
      SOLUTION: This is a packaging material composed of a packaging box 14 for use in storing a packaged item such as an electric equipment and the shock-absorbing materials 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b. The bottom surface and the lid surface of the packaging box 14 are provided with inner flaps 18, 18. The inner flaps are formed with through holes 20, 20. In turn, the shock-absorbing materials 2a, 2b, 3a and 3b formed into a predetermined shape with foamed styrol are provided with cavities 8a, 8b, 12a and 12b to which the corners of the product are fitted. The lower side and upper side are formed with shock-absorbing protrusions 9a, 9b, 13a and 13b while being protruded. The shock-absorbing protrusions 9, 13 are closely fitted into the through holes 20, 20 formed at the inner flap of the packaging box 14 without any clearance.
