摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid with a vent hole, which prevents leakage of a liquid detergent from a container. SOLUTION: The lid with the vent hole, having a screw-type engaging portion conforming to a neck portion of the container, for dispensing a fluid from the container, functions to block the container and vent air, and has a single molded plastic cap which is formed and arranged so as to be engageable with the container by screwing. The threaded cap has a diaphragm orifice defined therein, which has a dimension and arrangement fitted for receiving a siphon pipe. Then a gasket is fitted in the threaded cap so as to seal a fitting portion between the lid with the venting hole and the container, and an elastomeric vent valve is arranged in the threaded cap. Further the vent valve has a diaphragm having a slit formed therein, so as to receive the siphon pipe in a self-sealing manner. In order to confine the vent valve in the threaded cap, a retainer ring is employed and a safety ring in combination with the threaded cap in one body functions to hold the lid with the vent hole on the container.
