    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag filling and packaging apparatus in which a plurality of grippers are moved continuously along a racetrack-shaped annular track, and in the process of one cycle of the grippers, packaging operations including filling of bags with product to be filled, and sealing of the bag mouth are performed, which is controlled to automatically clear the clogging without decreasing productivity even in the case clogging occurs inside a hopper.
      SOLUTION: A bag filling and packaging apparatus includes hollow guide members 42 that are disposed below ascending/descending hoppers 41 and guide the product dropping from hoppers 41 into the interior of bags 9, the guide members being raised/lowered and moved together with the hoppers 41 in a filling region A. The guide members 42 comprise a pair of opening and closing guide frames 43 and 44 that are disposed to face each other; and when clogging is detected in a guide member by first detection means 57, its guide frames 43 and 44 are repeatedly opened and closed while moving through a non-filling region B, thus promoting the dropping of the product. Directly below the guide members 42 is provided a receiving member 40 that receives the product.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved continuous transport type bagging/packaging machine provided with multiple sets of grippers 2 which continuously move along a racetrack shaped annular track for filling an item to be packaged in a bag 9 and for packaging such as sealing a bag opening while the grippers 2 make one rotation without filling the item 53 excessively in weight.SOLUTION: A weighing hopper 42 is arranged on the top of each hoisting type hopper 37 and together they are continuously rotated. The weighing hopper 42 has a shutter 44 at the bottom and a shutter working mechanism 47 and a weight detector 46 are mounted for each weighing hopper 42 to be continuously rotated with the weighing hopper 42. On the basis of a detection signal from the weight detector 46, when the weight of the item to be packaged supplied to the weighing hopper 42 is determined as above the upper limit value of the tolerance, the corresponding shutter working mechanism 47 does not work and keeps the shutter 44 closed.
