摘要： A threshold plate (10) in rolling stock has a step section (11) in flat plate shape placed substantially horizontally, functioning as a foot-step. A light-holder section (12) located outside a step section (11) accommodates a light section (14). Lighting or flickering of the light section (14) allows a vehicle (1) side to warn in the presence of a gap or a difference in level between the edge of platform and the vehicle (1), and gives clear indication of the presence of doorway (4) to the physically handicapped persons, aged people, and others. Particularly, the light section (14) is effective when a platform does not give any clear indication of the position of doorway (4). Adoption of such type of threshold plate (10) is extremely effective as a facility for smooth getting on or off a vehicle, and ensures further safety for passengers and crew.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evacuation device provided on a rail vehicle operated along an elevated railway, configured to increase safety of an evacuating evacuee and a guide who guides the evacuee by using the evacuation device installed with a side sliding door of the rail vehicle open.SOLUTION: A screen 280 folded in an upper portion of a body frame 210 is opened. Upper fixed portions 284 of the screen 280 are locked to a lock section 286 provided at an upper portion of an entrance. A lower fixed portion 282 of the screen 280 is connected to an upper end portion of the body frame 210, so that the screen 280 covers a space from an upper portion of the evacuation device 200 to the upper portion of the entrance. The material of the screen 280 may be a sheet partially having a window or a transparent material or a net, so that the evacuation guide can visually check the condition of the evacuee.

SOLUTION: A doorsill 10 provided on a railway vehicle has a step part 11 comprising a flat plate that is roughly horizontal to function to be stepped. In a light holder part 12 provided at an outer end of the step part 11, a light part 14 is contained, so that existence of a gap or step between an edge end of a platform and the vehicle 1 is warned on the vehicle side by lighting or flashing of the light part 14. Existence of a doorway 4 in the vehicle is also clearly shown to physically disabled people or aged people. Especially this is effective in a case where the position of the doorway 4 is not clearly shown on the platform. Employment of the doorsill 10 is extremely effective in a facility to enable passengers to smoothly get on and off. Further safety is thus secured for passengers and crew members.
