    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stapler with which a staple is surely made to penetrate paper sheets to be bound by securing the strength of an insert cutting blade required to penetrate the paper sheets to be bound with the insert cutting blade which can be manufactured at low costs. SOLUTION: The stapler comprises a handle, a frame and a base. The frame is provided with a driver 18 for causing the staple to penetrate the paper sheets near the front end of a conveyance path along which a connected staples are conveyed. Punch blades 51 are respectively attached to a right and a left sides of a staple pressing portion 18f at the lower end of a driver main body.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply operated binding mechanism of a tape type binder.
      SOLUTION: A cutter part 21 is disposed above a paper table 11, and a clincher part 41 and a pair of rollers 31, 33 are disposed below the paper table. A portal cutter part is provided with cutter blades 23 on the right and left thereof, and a square hole 25 and an inside lower projecting part 24 are formed in the cutter blade. A punched hole 12 corresponding to the cutter part is formed in the paper table. When a portal paper-made staple 101 is mounted on the inside of the cutter part, and the cutter part is lowered, the paper-made staple penetrates the paper with the cutter blade. When the square hole of the cutter blade reaches the height of the roller, the rollers enter the inside through the square hole to bring the leg parts of the paper-made staple close to each other. Subsequently, the clincher part is raised, the leg parts of the paper-made staple are folded at 90 degrees by the right and left clinchers 43, 44 of the clincher part, and the leg parts are press-bonded by a central press-bonding piece 42.
