    • PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of contamination in an internal pressure type fluid separation apparatus using a tubular or hollow fiber membrane caused by microorganisms propagated in the presence of the permeation liquid or air bubbles stayed in the apparatus, by imparting a specific configuration to each inner surface of the fixing parts due to a resin at both end parts of said apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of hollow fiber membranes 1 are received in an outer cylinder 3 having a permeation liquid outtake port 2 in a parallelly bundled state and the mutual spaces between the hollow fiber membranes and the outer cylinder 3 are secured at both end parts thereof by a casting resin 4. The inner surface 4' of this casting resin 4 is brought to the surface almost same to the opening surface 2' of the permeation liquid outtake port 2 in the vicinity thereof and formed into a slightly concaved surface shape from said opening surface 2' toward the outer cylinder 3. That is, the distance (l') between the inner surface 4' of the casting resin 4 in the inner wall of the outer cylinder 3 in the opposite side of the opening surface 2' becomes gradually large with respect to the distance (l) between the inner surface 4' and the end surface 4'' of said resin 4. The liquid permeated through the hollow fiber membranes 1 is smoothly flowed along the inner surface 4' in a staying-free state and easily withdrawn from the system through the permeation liquid outtake port 2.
