    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold assembly capable of reducing the lowering of a temperature due to a spacer to the utmost in a spacer for a manifold or a spacer for a valve casing.
      SOLUTION: The mold assembly is equipped with a fixed mold 1 and a movable mold 2 capable of being opened and closed and forming a cavity 3 at the time of being closed and the manifold provided to the fixed mold 1. The valve casing 52 is incorporated in the through-hole 41 formed to the fixed mold 1 so as to form a gap 62 through the spacer 61 along with the inner face of the through-hole 41. The spacer 61 for the valve casing 51 is constituted of a composite material composed of a ferrous metal sintered body 64 and a ceramic layer 65. The strength of the spacer 61 can be ensured and heat conductivity can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a material in the inside of a nozzle from curing by improving heat retaining properties in the nozzle, by making use of ceramics for a nozzle part. CONSTITUTION:A ceramics coated film 10 to which ceramic coating has been applied is provided on a nozzle 8. A plasticized material is injected within a mold from the tip of the nozzle 8 through a sprue bushing 9. As a heat conductivity of ceramics, which is a solid inorganic material, is the extent of from 1/10 to 1/15 of that of steel as compared with the steel being used generally and the ceramic coated film 10 has been applied to the tip of the nozzle, heat retaining properties are improved and the plasticized material accumulated at the tip part of the nozzle 8 also becomes not curable. When an improvement in the heat retaining properties is desired further, steel can be replaced with ceramics as the quality of the material of the nozzle 8 and the sprue bushing 9 itself can be made into the ceramics.
