    • PURPOSE: To form a hot iron using a liquefied gas, which can execute complete combustion of no-flame from the beginning of combustion by a simple operation, by heating directly at least a part of a combustion catalyst by a heating wire, etc., and raising its temperature to an oxidation reaction temperature.
      CONSTITUTION: When using a titled hot iron, a cap 6 is remove, and an iron tip member 4 is removed. A mixed gas is supplied to a catalyst member 57 of a heating member 5. In this state, the base end part of a catalyst component 57b is heated by a firearm which is not accompanied with a flame, such as a nichrome wire heater, etc. from the outside of the catalyst member 57. This heating part is brought to a temperature rise up to an oxidation reaction start temperature first, and in this part, complete combustion of no-flame is executed. By its combustion heat, the catalyst component 57b is brought to a temperaure rise successively up to an oxidation reaction start temperature in the direction of the tip side, and complete combustion of no-flame is executed over the whole area of the catalyst component 57b. Thereafter, when the iron tip member 4 is installed, a combustion chamber 52 and an iron tip 54 are heated by heat of the heating chamber 5, therefore, this hot iron can be used in the same way as an electric soldering iron.
