    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the working efficiency by enhancing the visibility of a cutting edge while reducing a rear installation space, since there is a problem wherein a conventional fixed slide bar becomes an obstacle to the operation, whereas the rear installation space can be reduced by fixing the slide bar of a sliding mechanism slidably supporting the cutter body and moving in a bearing side in a bench cutter allowing longitudinal sliding of a cutter body for coping with a large material to be cut.
      SOLUTION: A large slide distance can be secured by sliding mechanisms 20, 40 of two upper and lower stages in the cutter body 10. As for the upper stage side, the sliding mechanism 40 of a pattern 2 in which the slide bar 42 is fixed is adopted. Thereby, the visibility of the cutting edge is secured while reducing the rear installation space of the sliding mechanism 40.
