SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of a power transmission chain 1, a plurality of link plates 2 are connected to each other by pins 3. The pins 3 are arranged at a predetermined pitch and temporarily fixed in an endless loop shape. The link plates 2 are successively stacked while each pin 3 is inserted in a through hole 4 of each link plate 2, the link plates 2 are connected to each other to constitute a circular shape (an endless loop), and the temporarily fixed pins 3 are released.
