    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold core for forging die with which a stress at the plastic working time can be dispersed.
      SOLUTION: In the mold core for forging composed of: a first core body for catching the tip end part of a metallic base stock advanced in a core hole and performing plastic working to form the scheduled head part shape; and a second core body set so as to make the surface contact with the first core body from the front surface side directed to the metallic base stock of the first core body and also, the head part shape working to the metallic base stock with the core hole and simultaneously, plastic working the barrel body of the metallic base stock from the surrounding in the advancing direction to form the scheduled barrel shape, the contact of the first core body with the second core body, is performed with a first contacting surface as the front surface of the first core body and a second contacting surface as the rear surface of the second core body and further, between these surfaces, there exist a plurality of recessed and projected structures extended in the diameter direction from the hole end edge part of the core hole and mutually put in.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller type forging machine which applies nearly constant pressure to metal blank passing through between a pair of rotating forging rollers, and thereby can almost uniformize diameter-reduction amount of the worked metal blank.
      SOLUTION: The roller type forging machine is provided, which applies pressure by a pair of the rotating forging rollers 31 and 32 to the metal blank 2 passing through between the rotating forging rollers 31 and 32 and conveyed along a prescribed conveying root 22 to perform plastic working of the metal blank into a planned shape, wherein the forging rollers 31 and 32 are constituted in such a way that the pushing force to the metal blank 7 passing through the rollers 31 and 32 is adjustable to a prescribed value, and that a pair of the forging rollers 31 and 32 are composed of the fixed roller 31 arranged at a prescribed position and fixed and the movable roller 32 which is juxtaposed to the fixed roller 31 and is arranged so that it can swing by approaching and separating from the fixed roller 31 with the control of a energizing means according to the size of the passing through metal blank 7.
