    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for putting in and out of the beams of a transfer device in the stage of moving a tailstock and to simplify the mechanism and operation of equipment by permitting moving and fixing of a traveling carriage in a stretcher frame and providing vertically movably the tailstock in the vertical positon of the traveling carriage. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 19 is actuated to disengage the locking member 20 and engaging recess 22 of an engaging device 18 and a cylinder 15 is retreated to lower a tailstock 5b in the direction of a traveling carriage 12. An open/ shut device 13 for a lock pin is released and a traveling carriage 12 is moved to the lower position between two beams 4a of a transfer device 4. The device 13 is then actuated to fix the carriage 12 to a stretcher frame 9. The cylinder 15 is advanced to move upwards the tailstock 5b and in succession, the cylinder 19 is actuated to fix the tailstock 5b to the carriage 12 by means of the device 18 by which an extruded profile is straightened.

    • PURPOSE: To take out extruded material without buckling and to enable extrusion of long material by drawing a punch after completion of extrusion of the punch and pushing the remaining with the punch keeping a container that holds the extrusion machine apart from the die.
      CONSTITUTION: A container 11 alone is lowered and set on a die 14, and a material 2 to be extruded is set in the container 11. A punch 13 is then lowered to enter the container 11 and made to press the material 2 to be extruded. The tip of the material 2 is extruded through the die 14, and the greater part of the material becomes a extruded part 7 and the remaining part is left unprocessed in the container 11. When the punch 13 is pulled up, the material 2 is pulled up with the container 11 and the extruded part 7 is pulled out from the die 14. When the container 11 continues to go up, the punch 13 enters the container 11, and the upper end face of the material 2 is pushed bythe punch 13 and thrusted out from the container 11. Thus, the material 2 to be extruded is separated from the extrusion forging apparatus and taken out.

    • PURPOSE:To automate a clamping operation and a stretching process in a straightening device of extruded shape material by providing a pair of upper and lower clampers to a truck freely movably in the vertical direction and moving the truck under a shape material supporting body. CONSTITUTION:A truck 49 moves in the longitudinal direction of a shape material 1 in accordance with the change of the extruded length of the material 1 to straighten the material 1 by a stretcher 14. The truck 49 can be run under a shape material supporting body 13 provided to the stretching process. And a pair of upper and lower clamps 17a, 17b is provided to the truck 49 freely movably in the vertical direction so that they are projected upward from the material supporting surface of the body 13. The device is capable of corresponding to the straightening process of the material of any length, making the clamping action sure, and automating the process.

    • PURPOSE:To automate straightening operations for profiles which are molded and cut and to lessen manpower by performing continuously the operations for drawing out the profiles, feeding the same to a cooler to cool the profiles, then clamping both ends of the profiles and straightening the same into a straight shape. CONSTITUTION:A profile 1 molded by an extrusion molding machine 2 is guided on a conveyor 4 of a run-out table by a puller 3 and is stopped. When the material 1 is cut to a prescribed length by a cutter 8, the puller 3 is cut the cut profile is transferred from the conveyor 4 to a conveyor 6 and is clamped. The profile 1 is fed by each one pitch on the conveyor 6 by the repetition of the above-mentioned operations, thereby the profile is moved under cooling. The snaking and curving of the profile 1 are limited during this time by a pair of guides. When the profile 1 is transferred on a conveyor 13, both ends of the profile 1 are clamped by means of clampers 15, 17 of a stretcher 14 and a movable clamping device 16 and the profile is straightened. The profile 1 upon ending of the straightening is transferred on a conyeyor 19 and the profiles are successively stored in an arrayed state.
