    • PURPOSE:To facilitate lining application by a method wherein a groove is formed to a backing metal arranged in the vicinity of a butt welded part of a corrosion resistant lining of a container to be communicated with a detecting hole and an embedded plate is provided to a back surface of the lining to rapidly and certainly detect leakage of a content. CONSTITUTION:To a backing metal 8 arranged to a butt welded line 9 of a corrosion resistant lining 7 of a pressure container, grooves 12 are provided and holes 13 communicated with detecting holes 10 are formed to said grooves 12. Further, an embedded plate 14 such as a carbon steel plate or the like having a thickness same to that of the backing metal 8 is provided to a total surface except the baking metal of a back surface of the lining 7 and attached to a cylinder 5 by welding or the like. By this mechanism, when leakage is generated from the welded part 9, a leaked content is reached to the detecting hole 10 through the communication hole 14 and the groove 12. Therefore, before corrosion of the cylinder 15 is not advanced, leakage of the content is certainly detected. Further, by attaching the embedded plate 14, manipulation bending the lining at the butt welded part is not necessitated and application property and close adhesiveness of the lining a are enhanced.
